Dear Friends; 

We regret to inform you that Benedetto Auctions will be closing its doors for good. Making this decision was very difficult and it is one we postponed for as long as possible. We sincerely hoped that the current economic situation would show some sign of improving but, unfortunately, we see no indication that there will be a correction anytime soon. Last night's auction, September 23rd, was our last. Effective immediately, we are no longer accepting consignments. As usual, merchandise purchased on the 23rd must be removed from the building by Friday, the 26th, no later than 4:00 PM. This same time table also applies to any passes you may have. Consignment checks from the 23rd will be handled in the normal fashion. If you asked to have your check mailed, it will be mailed on Sunday afternoon. If you normally pick up your check, it will be ready on Monday morning. We ask that you make a concerted effort to pick up your check on Monday, Tuesday at the latest. If this is a problem, give us a call and we will mail it to you.  

We want to thank everyone for their patronage over the years. We wish you great success in the future. A special thank you to Jerry Byfield who has always done an outstanding job for us. They don't come any better than Jerry! Also, a big thank you to Todd Surette, Jerry Brummett, John Noble and Stuart Stegall who over the years always pitched in to help us and always did it for free. They did it out of friendship and for love of the business and we will always be grateful.
